Chino to celebrate Christmas tradition

The Chino City Council invites the public to attend two traditional Christmas events in Chino: the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Chino Youth Christmas Parade and Fair.
Residents can kick off the Christmas season right by attending the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The Mayor and council will flip the switch, turning on the holiday lights that will decorate City Hall for the season. The Chino Community Chorus will sing some holiday favorites, Santa will be available for photo opportunities, and refreshments will be served.
he Chino Youth Christmas Parade and Fair will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12. The parade will start off at 9 a.m. at Yorba Avenue and Riverside Drive and continue down Central Avenue, ending at City Hall near Chino Avenue.
he Christmas Fair, located near City Hall, will kick off immediately following the parade and will feature entertainment, carnival rides, games and food. Stop by the craft fair taking place in the Senior Center/Library parking lot and check out the variety of homemade crafts and gifts.
