Literacy events ongoing

The National Center for Family Literacy has joined forces with McDonald's restaurants in Southern California to raise awareness about illiteracy.
The Chino Hills "Family Mealtime Literacy Nights" are at the McDonald's at 15950 Los Serranos Country Club Drive. 
The five-week program concludes Nov. 11.
Chino Hills Mayor Peter Rogers and Councilman Ed Graham on Nov. 11 will read a story to children and parents in attendance.
