Informational meetings on charter school planned
Two informational meetings for a proposed charter school, Oxford Preparatory Academy, will be held next week.
People interested in learning about the educational philosophy of the school, which will enroll K-8 students, are welcome to attend.
The meetings are from from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at a residence at 6598 Pinon Court in Chino and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Premier Academy, 5847 Pine Ave., Chino Hills.
Interested parents can stop by and speak to petitioners and members of the founding group to learn more about the proposed charter school.
Curriculum at the schools will be focused on The Theory of Multiple Intelligences.

A charter petition for Oxford Preparatory Academy is pending before the Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education.
Lead petitioners expect to hear a decision on the petition at Thursday's board meeting.
