School district postpones consideration of Charter School

| | Comments (0)
There was disappointment on Thursday night as the Chino Valley Unified School board voted to postpone consideration of support of the new Oxford Preparatory Academy charter school to next month.

Several issues remained a concern for boardmembers. Supporters hope the issues will be resolved by then.

An agreement between the parties moved action by the board on the Oxford Prep Academy charter application to the board's January 21 meeting pending the following:

▪         Verification of 350 intent to enroll signatures (due to CVUSD on Jan. 4th for verification by District prior to Jan. 21 meeting)
▪         Memorandum of understanding on special education issues (due to CVUSD on Jan. 4th)
▪         Memorandum of understanding on status of leave provisions for employees
