Dance team places high in national competition
Earlier this month the Chino Pop Warner Stallions Dance Team competed at the Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships placing 3rd at the national level. The Chino Pop Warner Youth Football and Cheer Program is part of the Mt. Baldy Conference which currently consists of 15 member cities with boundaries covering all of San Bernardino and Riverside counties as well as, parts of Eastern Los Angeles County. This is the first time ever, Mt. Baldy Conference has had a team place in the top three at the national level. Congratulations Chino Stallions Dance Team!
Pop Warner National Championships - Pop Warner Little Scholars founded in 1929 by Joe Tomlin is the oldest national youth football and cheerleading organizations in the world. Each year, Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. hosts the Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer and Dance Championships. For the past ten years, the event has taken place at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. during the second week of December. More than 400 cheer and dance squads and 64 football teams compete for the right to be crowned Pop Warner National Champion.
