The Chino Valley Unified School District Science Fair will be held Feb. 22-24 in the Multipurpose Room at Liberty Elementary School.
Site competitions will determine which projects advance to the district event.
This year, 15 schools are expected to send representatives from grades 4-12. Projects are scheduled to be set up on Monday, and judging will take place on Tuesday afternoon.
The awards ceremony, wherein which participants receive ribbons and trophies, will take place on Wednesday at 6 p.m. with a reception.
Trophy winners will go on to the county event at the National Orange Show FairgroundsEvents Center in San Bernardino and winners at that level will advance to the state competition.
Last year, Townsend 8th grader Eugene Laksana won a first place award at the state event.
For more information or to sign up to judge student projects, contact John Lynde at 909-628-1201, ext. 1590.
