Ayala to present The Sound of Music

In honor of the film musical's 45th anniversary, Ayala High School is presenting The Sound of Music starting Wednesday. 
Performances continue March 24, 26, 30, 31, and April 1 and 2.
Evening performances begin at 7:08 p.m., and Saturday matinees on March 26 and April 2 begin at 2:08 p.m.
Local schools have been invited to attend special daytime performances on March 30 and 31 at 9:30 a.m. The show will not be on stage March 25 because of the CVUSD furlough day.
Tickets are available at the door one-half hour before curtain time. General admission is $12. Tickets for students, faculty, and seniors are $10. Admission for all attendees of the matinee shows is $8.
The Sound of Music features music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II.
The book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse was suggested by "The Story of the Trapp Family Singers."
Ayala is located at 14255, Peyton Drive, Chino Hills.
