The Chino Valley Fire District teamed up with the Boy Scouts of America and several other fire departments to collect disaster relief materials that will be sent to Japan in the wake of a devastating earthquake and tsunami that devastated parts of the country.
Last week, members of Boy Scouts Troop 309 from Chino made a large delivery to Chino Valley Fire District Fire Station 61, 13251 Central Ave., Chino.
The donation is one of several donations the Fire District has received throughout the Chino Valley. Large donations have also been made by various residents.
