Mental health awareness event planning
Locals can participate Saturday in a planning session for a May 14 fundraiser and outreach event for mental health awareness at Ayala Park in Chino.
Planning for the event will be at March 19 at 2 p.m. at the Chino Neighborhood Activity Center, 5201 D St. Chino.
The May 14 event will raise funds and awareness for research on schizophrenia, depression, bi-polar disorder and autism.
The San Bernardino County Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Mental Health Services are participating and supporting the event. Several mental health-related charitable organizations will have booths.
