Truck and car collide in Chino

Chino Valley Fire District firefighters responded to a reported traffic collision at the intersection of Monte Vista and Edison Avenues in Chino at 12:45 p.m. Monday. Firefighters found a two-vehicle traffic collision involving a sedan and truck. Firefighters used the jaws of life to extricate a female patient in her early 70s from the sedan's passenger side. She was treated on scene and transported with moderate injuries to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton via ground ambulance.
Also in the sedan was a female in her mid-30s who was treated for minor injuries and transported to Chino Valley Medical Center. A male in his mid-50s who also sustained minor injuries was transported to Chino Valley Medical Center. A 12-month-old male infant was also in the sedan and transported with minor injuries to Chino Valley Medical Center.
The driver of the truck, a male in his early 20s, was treated for minor injuries and refused further treatment or to be transported to an area hospital.
