Donald Reinhart, 77, of Claremont put together a 1,200 piece grandfather clock puzzle which completed stands 5 feet tall with a running clock in the finished piece.
Thanks to his stepdaughter Donna Reinhart Saxton who submitted the information and the photo on June 14.
wonderful piece of art, love it. I'm looking to find one also. have any ideas of where I can get one. they are just beautiful! congrats to 77 year young man. Fantastic work.
I put that same puzzle together for my mother's birthday. Can you please tell me how you hung it up? It came with a little metal piece, but how does it attach to the puzzle itself? I am very frustrated about this.
Great common sense here. Wish Id thoghut of that.
I was given one of these clocks for Cristmas this year. It took me 9 days to put it together and another 2 days to add the glue and hang it. I traced the clock onto a piece of cardboard and glued it to the back of the clock. Then I added three thick yard sticks to the back to keep it from warping. So far it's working great. I just love mine. You have to unscrew the metal ring that's on the clock movement part, add the hanger and then the rubber piece. Then screw it back onto the box piece and attach the hands to the front of the clock.
i got mine from a 2nd hand store, and sadly I'm missing ONE piece..I called the compaany that made it, BITS and PIECES and thry told me I have to buy a whole new puzzle that otherwise they couldn't help me...its horrible, I'm very upset because it is a beautiful puzzle and now just sitting there missing a piece LOL
