DUI checkpoint planned Friday and Sept. 4
The Claremont Police Department will hold a driving under the influence/drivers license checkpoint Friday and Sept. 4 with other police agencies.
The first checkpoint will be held from 6 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday.
The second checkpoint will be held from 6 p.m. Sept. 4 to 2 a.m. Sept. 5.
The California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration provides the grant funding for the checkpoint, according to a Claremont Police Department news release.
