Family campout under stars registration deadline Friday
The campout under the stars takes place from 4 p.m. Aug. 29 to 9 a.m. Aug. 30
The campout will begin with a barbecue and campers will enjoy nature crafts, sing songs and join in a flashlight scavenger hunt along with other games.
Claremont's Human Services Department will host the event at the Alexander Hughes Community Center's east lawn. Attendees can use the center's amenities.
The fee is $25 per person which includes activity supplies, meals and snacks.
Registration must be completed by Friday.
