Holiday promenade and tree lighting ceremony Dec. 4

The Holiday promenade and tree lighting ceremony will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 4.
The event takes place at the Claremont Depot, between First Street and Yale Avenue.

At 5 p.m. there will be live music and "festive" storefronts. "The Village will transform into a holiday wonderland, where the young and young at heart can enjoy the festivities," according to a city news release.

Between 5 and 5:45 p.m. attendees can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Packing House, 540 W. First St.

At 6 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will join the ceremony to perform the tree lighting ceremony.

Between 7 and 8 p.m. attendees can again visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Packing House.
