City manager report condensed

| | Comments (0)
City Manager Jeff Parker issues a report online every week that details happenings in the city. Here is a quick round-up of the report:

---A building permit was issued for the first phase of Mexican restaurant Casa Moreno's interior improvement, in Village West. City staff will meet with the owner's architect in January to determine the final plan designs.

---The city's last day to collect holiday trees pick up is Thursday. For tree pick up, place it at the curb on the regular trash collection day. Trees must be free of stands, decorations, and bags, in order to be mulched and recycled. The tree should be cut if it's over 6 feet inches tall.

---Work will begin this week on the San Jose Avenue infill sidewalk project, which will provide for the installation of new sidewalks on the south side of San Jose Avenue, between Sycamore Avenue and Cumberland Place. Construction is to be completed by the beginning of February. Residents adjacent to the construction area have been notified of the construction schedule by the contractor, JDC, Inc.
