Diamond Center owner Debbie Lantz gave a portion of her proceeds from the Skin Physicians and Surgeons' Holiday Open House to the Foothill Country Day Seedling School in Claremont.

The Diamond Center also donated 10 percent of all sales from the weekend of Dec. 4 and 5 to The Seedling School.

Sandra Lee organized the open house, which featured several cosmetic treatments and showcased the products of local businesses, according to a news release from The Diamond Center.

Lantz presented a wide variety of fine and fashion jewelry using models and doctors, including diamonds and jewelry from Hearts on Fire, according to the news release.

Proceeds given to The Seedling School will benefit education for 3 to 5 year-olds enrolled.

An official with The Diamond Center said close to $1,000 was raised.
