A Friday Night Green Market is scheduled to take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Claremont Packing House, 586 W. First Street.

Local, fresh organic produce with green living ideas and information are highlighted for the all ages free event.

Proceeds will support the Claremont Forum and the Prison Library Project.

The prison library project serves "prisoners seeking personal and spiritual growth by providing books and tapes at no cost to the prisoner, prison chaplain, or prison psychologist," according to the Claremont Forum's Web site.
