Jim and Anne Curry to add performance Saturday at the Gelencser House

Jim Curry has the appearance and sound of John Denver while his wife Anne Curry uses her mandolin and harmonies to back his efforts.

The duo will perform at the just added 2 p.m. and regularly scheduled 7:30 p.m. times Saturday because of interest.

"If you are unable to attend the evening concert and wish to see the Currys perform, there is plenty of room at the 2:00 concert," said Janice Gelencser in a news release. "If you have already made a reservation and would prefer the matinee, just let us know and we'll change the time."

Jim's Denver-esque voice has been heard on "Take Me Home: The John Denver Story," a CBS television movie.

According to the Gelencser House Concerts, "Jim plays the guitar and sings in a crystal clear tenor voice that sounds like Denver himself."

There is a suggested donation of $15.

The original concert date was Jan. 23rd but the event was changed to Jan. 9.
