Atheist Daniel Dennett to debate Claremont theologian Philip Clayton Tuesday

"New atheist" Daniel Dennett is scheduled to debate Claremont theologian Philip Clayton from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Claremont Graduate University.

The debate will take place inside CGU's Albrecht Auditorium, 160 East Tenth Street.

Dennett is University Professor/Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University and co-director of the Center for Cognitive Studies, according to the news release.

Clayton is an Ingraham Professor of Theology at the Claremont School of Theology and Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Claremont Graduate University, according to the news release.
