Pianists Karl and Margaret Kohn give free concert Feb. 13

Pianists Karl and Margaret Kohn will perform, for two pianos, a concert of 20th century piano duos at 8 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Bridges Hall of Music at Pomona College.

According to a Pomona College news release, "The Kohns have given numerous American premiere performances, including works by Boulez, Pousseur, Berio, and Ligeti, with publications from The Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, The New York Times, Helsingin Sanomat, London Times and Manchester Guardian hailing them as "extra-ordinary duo-pianists," "exquisite," "furiously exciting," "super virtuoso," "graceful," and "poetic.""

The program will feature:

Steve Reich - piano phase (1967)

Karl Kohn - Dream Pieces (1983)

Georgy Ligeti - Three Pieces (1976)

John Adams -- Hallelujah Junction (1998)

Bridges Hall of Music is at 150 E. 4th St.
