Watch out for curb painters

| | Comments (0)
Curb painting is prohibited and there are no permits issued for any group or person to perform this service for a "donation" or a fee.

The Claremont Police Department, according to a Claremont Neighborhood E-Watch report Thursday morning, received resident complaints about fliers left at their home "offering to paint their address on the curb for a 'donation.'"

To enforce the ordinance, a witness must identify the person(s) distributing the fliers or asking for a donation.

Police department officials are requesting people call the police department immediately if they see anyone distributing material for curb painting or trying to collect a donation for the activity.
