Free E-waste collection event on July 24

The City of Claremont will work with RVM Management and Global E-Recyclers to collect electronic waste by offering a Free E-Waste Collection Event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24.

The event will take place in the Claremont Center, 436 Auto Center Drive, according to the July 1 recent city manager weekly update.

The event is open to the general public and businesses. 

Acceptable items include:
CRT monitors, shredders

Television sets, cell phones

Mice/keyboards, power supplies

LCD monitors, fax machines

Cables and cords, telephones

Computers, laptops

Printers, servers

Hard drives DVD's and VCR's

Copiers, computer, peripherals

Toners and all other electronics

Household and kitchen appliances will not be accepted.
