Village Venture Saturday with information on salon fund raiser
The Claremont Chamber of Commerce 29th Annual Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The free event takes place on Harvard Avenue, Bonita Avenue and First and Second Streets in the downtown Village area.
People will be able to visit more than 450 booths and more than 20,000 visitors attended in 2009.
There be arts and crafts, a food court and a chamber of commerce and Claremont business and organization section.
A Children's Halloween Parade will start at 9:30 a.m. Participants will head to the corner of Harvard and Bonita Avenues at 9:15 a.m.

- Salon Luxe will participate in the Village Venture and raise funds for "ChildHelp," a residence program that helps abused children and has a location in Beaumont.
Insulated cups for $12 with raffle tickets inside for gift baskets with products and services will be available for purchase to raise funds.
Salon Luxe's booth is No. 748 and is on First Street. The business is located at 937 N. Foothill Blvd.
