I am glad that the Claremont residents got this right. We are still paying on measure Y. While I am all for schools receiving more money, Measure CL was not the answer. Next, we need to attack the California Lottery; it is not doing what it was put in place to do: generate money for California Schools. We don't have to have a $7 million jackpot at the outset...make it $3 million and give the other $4 million to the schools.
