First Friday art walk

The First Friday Art Walk will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the OBJCT Gallery.

As part of the art walk, with the exhibit continuing through Jan. 23, OBJCT Gallery and Shibui Designs will present DESIGN/PROCESS: Mentors + Next-Gen Makers. 

Decorative arts curator Jo Lauria, exhibit guest curator, has created "an exhibition about the DNA of design and how inspiration travels the chain from mentor to protégé, from concept to execution," according to the OBJCT gallery news release. 

The gallery is at 548 W. First St.
