Jimmy Dore to headline Flappers Comedy Club this weekend

Comedian Jimmy Dore has performed numerous Comedy Central specials, is the host of his own weekly radio show on KPFK Los Angeles and a writer performer for the Off-Broadway hit "The Marijuana-Logues," according to a Flappers Comedy Club news release. 

He will perform at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Flappers Comedy Club. Other comedians performing include host/emcee Laura Hayden and comedian Jim Ruel.

Dore, whose "Citizen Jimmy" Comedy Central special was designated Best of 2008 from iTunes and named one of Punchline Magazine's top 5 comedy DVDs, uses an "everyman style and razor-sharp material," according to the news release. 

Tickets are $15. There is a two-drink minimum.
