| | Comments (0)
The Claremont United Church of Christ will host a U2charist at 6:22 p.m. Saturday.

Empowering women is the event's theme and one of the United Nations' published Millennium Goals, according to a news release.

Collections received from the event will be donated to Kiva.com, which is the tradition of the U2charist events.

There is no charge to attend.

Rev. Petra Malleis-Sternberg, pastor of the San Bernardino First Congregational United Church of Christ, will be the guest preacher.

Congregation member Lisa Delgadillo and recording artist Roxanne Christian will provide the music.

The service is about sixty minutes long and will be held in the Kingman Chapel of Claremont United Church of Christ.

The church, a progressive Christian nomination, is at 233 West Harrison Ave.

For more information, contact 909-626-1201.
