"Spitting Game: The College Hook-Up Culture" presentation on Monday
Writer and director Denice Ann Evans will speak about her documentary "Spitting Game" on Monday at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum at Claremont McKenna College.
The program starts at 6:45 p.m. The Athenaeum is at 385 E. 8th St.
"Spitting Game" won Best Social Awareness Documentary at the 2009 Delray Beach Film Festival.
Evans covers the college hook up culture and analyzes attitudes of parents, experts and students on hooking up, which is "drunken, no strings-attached sexual encounters" from a safety and gender politics perspective, according to a news release.
Attendance at any event can be limited to persons associated with Claremont McKenna College, to the people who signed up for dinner, or to the maximum number of people allowed by fire regulations, according to the Claremont McKenna College website.
