Dance and hip hop teams place well in Anaheim
The girls Claremont High School Dance Team placed first and the Claremont High School Wolfgang Hip Hop Team placed second at the USA Nationals in Anaheim on March 26 and 27.
The dance team was first in the large kick division at the Anaheim Convention Center, said CHS principal Brett O'Connor.
The hip hop team placed second in large team, third in small team and fourth in large team.
Lisa Germano coaches the dance team while Ruth Ojeda advises the hip hop team with coaches Erica Ojeda and Risa Anderson.
