Claremont Public Library July highlights
The Claremont Public Library, at 208 N. Harvard Ave., has released their schedule for July and here are a few highlights.
The lobby display case in July features "Abandoned Fabric as Art" where Sumi Foley has created hand made fabric artworks. They were inspired from Foley's grandmother who threw away old kimonos and the artist has since embraced abandoned fabric of all types.
At 2 p.m. July 16 the library will have a program for ages 12 and up titled "How to Draw Manga" where Stephanie Ellwood instructs youths how to draw manga and anime characters.
