Norms restaurant scheduled to open in August; hiring event in late July
Norms Restaurant, near Indian Hill Boulevard and the 10 Freeway, will open sometime in August, a spokeswoman said Thursday.
"We are excited about joining the Claremont neighborhood!" said Dolores Pompa in an e-mail.
There is a hiring event for the restaurant to take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 25 through July 29 at 440 Auto Center Drive, next to Norms restaurant.
The restaurant is hiring for all positions. They are: servers, host/hostess, baristas, cooks, bus persons, dishwashers and food runners.

Why did you close the Norm's Restaurant on Valley Blvd., in San Gabriel, CA? We used to go every weekend. This was our family gathering. My son's and all their friends used to also go here all the time. We need another one in the Alhambra/Monterey Park area. Please come back to our part of town. Miss your meals and the great service we used to get.
