The July 4 1K fun walk, which featured more than 1,200 people, started at 7:30 a.m. while the 5K race run and walk took place at 8 a.m.

3. Jerry Bugh, 27, 16:30
4. Sean Henning, 26, 16:49
5. Douglas Negrete, 16, 16:50

Top 5 for Women's 5K
1. Melissa Flicker, 39, 20:03
2. Sheila King, 49, 20:35
3. Kristen Lindbergh, 21, 20:36
4. Ashley Morgan, 21, 20:39
5. Margot Stert, 17, 20:50

5k Walk Results
1. Steven Avellaneda, 46, 30:33
2. Donna Cunninham, 64, 31:49
3. Francine Avellaneda, 45, 32:33
4. Mark Biewer, 54, 33:21
5. Jesus Orendain, 69, 34:41

The race started in Memorial Park and goes through the Village and Claremont Colleges before finishing on Yale Avenue near Memorial Park. 

Medals were given to the first three in each age division with free shoes given to male and female overall winners.
