Youth Activity Center open Wednesday for freshmen and new students

The Youth Activity Center will be open from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday for high school freshmen and new student orientation, according to a news release from the city manager.

The center features teen sports tournaments, activities, leadership groups, projects and more for students. 

There will be about 700 to 750 new students and/or freshmen who will tour the center.

The center will be open for its regular hours from 2 to 6 p.m. on the first day of school Aug. 30.
