Halloween Spooktacular Oct. 31
Claremont's annual Halloween Spooktacular in the downtown Claremont Village starts at 3 p.m. Oct. 31.
The City of Claremont, Claremont Chamber Village Marketing Group, and local businesses sponsor the event.
Children, in a safe environment, can participate in trick-or-treating, entertainment and free games, according to a news release.
More than 40 Village businesses will have a special poster and balloons to identify them. The businesses give free goodies to trick-or-treaters from 3 to 5 p.m.
Maps with the locations are available at the Claremont Depot, 200 W. First St., and City Hall, 207 Harvard Ave.
The Claremont Depot will feature entertainment and free games from 4 to 7 p.m. including a Zoom Room sponsored dog costume contest at 5 p.m., a wildlife presentation at 5:30 p.m. and a children's costume contest at 6:30 p.m., according to the release.

I didn’t hear anything about participating in this Claremont's annual Halloween Spooktacular from my kids school. I am sure they must be aware about it. I have heard about some event at dallas cultural center. They are organizing lot of entertaining programs for the kids. It will be an interesting and cool event for both kids and their parents because they have included variety programs in to it. I want to enroll my kids for one of this program. Let me talk to the school authorities first about it.
It's great to hear of a combination of youngsters and local business in a local event.
We're huge Halloween fans and wish this was the case more often, giving children a fun view of Halloween and a safe environment too.

A lot of kids always look forward to Halloween because they get to dress up using their favorite costumes and they get free candies and other treats as well
