Claremont mayor elected Chair of the Metro Gold Line Phase II Joint Powers Authority
"This is a monumental time to be part of the Foothill Extension project and a great time to be taking over the chair of the Joint Powers Authority board," Pedroza said in a news release.
"Over the next few years, the JPA will be providing important advice as construction progresses on the 11.5-mile Pasadena to Azusa segment, and environmental review is completed on the 12.6-mile Azusa to Montclair segment. I look forward to making sure that the cities' input is fully integrated into these planning and construction activities."
Pedroza, also a Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority Vice Chairman, was elected chair at the board's Dec. 9 meeting.

Great decision! Best of luck to you always! Merry Christmas and a Blessed & prosperous New Year in 2012!
