Gun found in La Puente classroom
Police arrested a science teacher at La Puente High School after a gun was found in his classroom.
Vahe Khachatourian, 37, was arrested by Hacienda La Puente Unified School District Police Monday afternoon. Police dogs discovered the gun in a locked box.
District officials are mum about the investigation and won't release any details about Khachatourian. Students say he is a good teacher who likes to collect guns.
Khachatourian is expected to appear in court Wednesday morning.

Mr. Khachatourian was a great teacher i had him my sophomore. But all this La Puente is ghetto that isn't true. People talk so much about us being a bad shcool,when we have so many good things going on there. Mr. K could have saved lives there because we have had lock downs. Those stupid shouldn't have fired him because no one had access to a gun that was unloaded.
Thats true, the gun was locked away in a room where a student cant gain access, it isnt fair that he got fired even though its the policy rule. What i dont think is fair is that they are pressing charges against him and might be locked away in prison. Thats not fair, he didnt commit any degrees or any crimes from it
