Hacienda schools roll out for Shakeout

Things were rocking and rolling in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District.

OK, maybe not rocking, but the students were rolling out of their classrooms as they all participated in the big Shakeout Disaster Drill this morning.

The district was using the drill to practice for the Big One. Even workers at the administration building participated by ducking under their desks.

The superintendent's office reported that every thing went well in the practice drill.
