Students fear Cal Grant cuts

| | Comments (2)
Yikes, the governor has called for the elimination of Cal Grants. Many college students depend on the vital grants to pay for their college.

They say it's a double whammy, colleges are raising their tuition while the state is cutting their grants. Many don't know how they'll be able to afford college.

Read some of their stories and fears in our story in today's Walnut Highlander.

These students needs to stop whinning. We see their attitudes, party and want it all without working hard.

I have seen their work ethic, which stinks, throws an attitude and complain on have to work weekends.

Stop robbing me (Paul) to pay for brats (Peter).

wow not everybody have money to pay for their tuition. not everybody party and have a lazy attitude. i think you are looking at the bad side of the student. theres good and bad apples. also, education is the best thing we can do to help the future (kids).

the governor should look into something else.
