Evergreen Elementary School finished a very successful educational support fundraiser with a big splash thanks to the support of parents and event coordinator Kathleen Strudwick.  
 
 Students were promised they would have the opportunity to “flush” their principal if they met the $18,000 goal.
 
 

And the kids did it! On Nov. 8, they cheered as Principal Don Trimmer climbed into the flush tank. The school leader got a good drenching each time a student took aim with a tennis ball and hit the bull’s eye.
