Senior Victor Chen was honored as a Super Star Student. He is involved with numerous activities at Walnut High, said Principal Jordan.
He is an IB Diploma candidate, has a 4.00 GPA and a member of the Varsity Cross Country team that recently won the Hacienda League Championship. Victor is a member of the National Honor Society and Amnesty International clubs. He is also the Vice President of Conferences on the award-winning Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club. He has been a FBLA State Champ and won 2nd Place at Nationals. Victor hopes to attend Stanford University and major in Management Science and Engineering.
“We are Impressed with Victor’s sense of balance in his life. He likes to hang out at the Walnut Village, likes to study, read, and to help out with the family business. He knows it’s not all about high-turbo 24/7 academics. And that’s why I think he’s going to be successful and we’re really proud of him,” Jordan said.
