From the rumor/leak mill comes ASUS' move of its eee platform to the desktop. Just look at this thing. Yes, it's cooler than a Mac. And way cheaper.

And the most intriguing part of the rumor/leak? the EBOX will use Intel's new Atom processor, which the chip-maker is marketing as power-saving CPU for ultra-small devices.

The name of it at this point is the EBOX. According to Electronista, it runs Xandros Linux distribution, a 160GB hard drive (and NOT a flash drive like most eee notebooks) and a very comfortable 2GB of RAM.

Price of the EBOX will reportedly be between $200 and $300, and it will be available in aa choice of case colors: black or white.

The only hitch is pairing it with an equally cool-looking monitor, keyboard and mouse.
