Excellent perspective on BSD vs. Linux in excellent security-oriented blog
This post from Ax0n of the HiR Information Report does a nice job of chronicling where Linux and BSD have been, where they're going, and why you might want to run one or the other. I'd like to see more on why the writer likes OpenBSD, but nevertheless it's got a nice bit of perspective.
The blog itself is a great read for those interested in security on the server and over the Internet. It also has some of the best OpenBSD tips I've seen lately.
Great HiR post (check out the slide show): Retro Computing
The slide show I mention refers to a project called SmartBoot Manager which is able to boot just about any OS on a CD on a computer that has trouble doing just that.
