This week's print column: The Daily News Podcast

It's no secret that I've been working on the technical back end of the Daily News' latest foray into multimedia, the Daily News Podcast With Ken Jeffries.
On Saturday in the Daily News, I'll have a column on what the podcast is all about and a bit on how to listen to it.
I have it set up with Flash players both at the blog link and on the Daily News home page. Among the development tasks in my near future is putting a hard HTML link to the podcast MP3 below the Flash players; after all, I'm well aware that not everybody has Flash turned on, and when it comes to FOSS operating systems and the browsers that run in them, there's less Flash by far than in the two prevalent proprietary OSes (Windows and OS X) that command most of the market.
So just like they do at ZDNet, I'd like to have the Flash audio player AND a hard link for those who a) don't want to use Flash and b) wish to do a direct download of the audio.
As it stands, the audio can be accessed via HTML links in the XML feed for the podcast.
