Desktop Linux points to many videos that cover the speeches and panels at the Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit last month in Austin.
What's in there?
The videos include keynotes from Red Hat and Sun/MYSQL, and a panel on Linux PCs.
When I get a chunk of free time, I'm going to watch these myself.
Most intriguing:
Desktop panel: We're shipping Linux on PCs -- now what? -- John Hull (Dell), David Liu (gOS), Jim Mann (HP), Timothy Chen (Via), Kelly Fraser (Xandros), Gregoire Gentil (Zonbu), Ellis Wang (Asus), and Debra Kobs-Fortner (Lenovo)
Note: The sound gets louder a minute or so into it.
Point of order: The esteemed Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols is the moderator of the desktop panel.
You can also get to all of these videos from the main Linux Foundation page, or the video gallery.
