Clippers come up short

Beasley’s 15-foot jumper with 2.3 left won the game for the Timberwolves, which improve to 5-9. The Clippers drop their seventh in a row, now falling to 1-11.

All of the Clippers starters finished with double figure scoring led by Eric Gordon’s 30 points and seven assists. Blake Griffin had 26 points and 17 rebounds, while Al-Farouq Aminu had 17 points, DeAndre Jordan scored 11 and Eric Bledsoe had 10.

Beasley was the top-scorer for Minnesota with 33, while Kevin Love had 24 points and 14 rebounds while Corey Brewer scored 14, Luke Ridnour had 12 and Darko Milicic 11.
