Clippers lose 116-108

Down by 25 at one point, the Clippers (3-13) came back and only lost by eight against the Suns in Arizona.

Phoenix (8-8) jumped out to a huge lead in the first quarter, outscoring LA 42-21 at the end of the first quarter. The Suns went up by 25 at one point in the second before the Clippers started slowly coming back - getting as close as eight late in the fourth.

Eric Gordon led the Clippers with 32 points and six assists while Blake Griffin had 20 points and 14 rebounds. Ryan Gomes added 20 points off the bench (and had three three-pointers) and Brian Cook scored 14 and had 10 rebounds.

Jason Richardson led Phoenix with 29 points on 12-19 shooting from the field, while Steve Nash had 16 points and 10 assists.

The Clippers next play at home against the Utah Jazz on Sunday at noon. The Clippers only lost by two when they met the first time this season on November 6th.
