Clippers lose to New Orleans

The Clippers were no match for the undefeated Hornets and Chris Paul and lost 101-82 in New Orleans.

Paul had 13 points, eight assists and three steals for the Hornets (7-0), which had six players score in double figures. Willie Green led the team with 19, while Jerryd Bayliss had 15, Emeka Okefor and Trevor Ariza had 12 apiece and Marco Belinelli scored 11.

The Clippers starters had a rough game with Eric Bledsoe only scoring six and Kaman two (in limited minutes), but Ryan Gomes had 11 and Blake Griffin and Rasual Butler (in a rare starting role in place of Eric Gordon) had 10 each. Because of the blowout and Kaman's limited playing time, Al-Farouq Aminu played considerable minutes and led all scorers with 20 points on 7-10 shooting.

Even though the Clippers outrebounded New Orleans 39-33, the Hornets shot over 50% from the field and capitalized on 25 LA turnovers.
