Clippers win by one over Bulls

Derrick Rose had the chance to tie the game and push it into overtime, but missed the second of two free throws and the Clippers escaped with a 100-99 win.
Rose drove to the basket with the potential game-tying points, the defense swarmed him and he was fouled with no time left. He calmly went to the line and sank the first free throw, but was short on the second - ending the game.

The Bulls (16-9) rallied in the second half after being down eight at halftime. They outscored the Clippers (7-21) by one in the third quarter and six in the fourth, with Rose leading the team with 34 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Carlos Boozer had 25 points for Chicago and Luol Deng scored 17.

Blake Griffin led Los Angeles with yet another double-double (29 points and 12 rebounds), while Baron Davis scored 16, Eric Gordon 15, Craig Smith 13 and Rasual Butler 11.
