Clippers dominate Minnesota

The Clippers got a full team effort - both offensively and defensively - and beat the visiting Timberwolves 126-111.

Los Angeles (16-25) - which has won six straight home games - outscored Minnesota (10-33) 29-19 in the first quarter and then maintained the advantage all the way through. Seven Clippers scored in double figures led by Blake Griffin's 29. Among the double-digit scorers were Eric Gordon (23), Baron Davis (20), Ryan Gomes (13), DeAndre Jordan (11) and Eric Bledsoe and Ike Diogu, who scored 10 apiece.

For the first time since Nov. 18, Griffin did not get a double-double, with only eight rebounds, but he had a more complete game, dishing out six assists. DeAndre Jordan got the double-double this time, with 11 points and 12 boards, while Gomes had eight rebounds and Diogu ripped down six. The Clippers had 48 rebounds as a team - 15 more than Minnesota.

Former UCLA Bruin Kevin Love led Minnesota with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

The Clippers have won seven of their last 10 games and three in a row.
