Chris Paul on Monday morning was reminded that teammate J.J. Redick is a tough player on the court. Paul recalled there was no love lost between the two of them during their college days. Both played in the ACC, Paul at Wake Forest and Redick at Duke.

“Me and J.J., we strongly disliked each other when we was in college,” Paul said prior to practice. “But I’ve said it before, I remember when (coach) Doc (Rivers) said we had the opportunity to get him last summer, or two summers ago. I was all for it because I know he’s a competitor and I love it.”

Redick was signed by the Clippers in the summer of 2013 ahead of the 2013-14 campaign.
